Preserve the same car when editing photos with AI

Check whether an AI edit still shows the same car. Compare position, wheels, body lines and damage, and recognise when a result should be rejected.

Preserving the same car during AI editing requires comparison with the source. An instruction to “change only the background” is not a guarantee. The result must show the same specification, components, colour and visible condition, even when the new setting looks convincing.

Check position and proportions first

Compare roofline, wheelbase, bumper shape and mirror position. View both images at the same scale so a different crop is not mistaken for a vehicle change. Watch for a car that appears to have rotated, exposing surfaces absent from the source.

A changed camera viewpoint is not simply a background replacement.

Work from large features to small details

  • Body panels, shut lines and window pillars.
  • Wheel pattern, brake components and tyre tread.
  • Lamp shapes, badges and grille.
  • Tow bar, aerial and roof rails.
  • Visible scratches, dents and wear.

Check both sides of symmetrical components. A model can reproduce a plausible mirror or lamp while missing the actual specification.

How should lighting differences be judged?

A new setting can change the impression of light. It must not make the paint appear to have a different colour or finish. Shadow should not conceal relevant damage. If uncertain, compare additional original photographs and the physical vehicle.

What happens after an error?

Reject the image, describe the difference and decide whether regeneration is useful. If information is missing from the source, retake it. If a detail remains wrong, use a suitable original.

123CarStudio provides comparison and approval before download. Apply that check to every result. A complete series containing one inaccurate image still needs correction before publication.
